About CBI

Since 1997, Community Basics has been addressing the shortage of affordable housing by building communities for families and individuals who typically fall in the 40-60 percent median income bracket. Most residents are working families; some are disabled and, in the case of Lincoln House and Fordney House, people who were homeless and who suffer from mental illness now have permanent housing, complete with supportive services.
